Mosquito bay has the Guinness Record for brightest bioluminescence. This is one of those things in this world that just feels so alien to me, like we’re actually on the planet from the Avatar movie. If you have ultimate flexibility, try to go when the moon light is the weakest. Dec-Apr is peak season so going just afterwards gives you that authentic and personal feel that we all want during travel (also more affordable).

You've probably seen the videos of this already but if you haven't, the whole event is a foot race down a steep hill where a bunch of people with no regard for their bodies basically launch themselves into an involuntary cartwheel to try to beat a cheese wheel in a race. With 24 Michelin star restaurants, 2500 years of history and the Amalfi coast, Naples earns its place as one of Italy’s most desirable travel destinations. The historic city center is a UNESCO site... Just like half of the destinations that I recommend in this newsletter haha.

Copenhagen Distortion Festival, Denmark - May 29 to Jun 02 - Unlike other music festivals, this one doesn't have a set venue. It is hosted by different venues over the Wed-Sat festival. There are street parties, raves, clubs and 100,000+ people who travel into the city just for this. - Article

Ducasse de Mons, Mons, Belgium - May 22 to Jun 02 - An 8 day celebration dating back almost 800 years. Here's a fun little fact: On Trinity Sunday, a large shrine is pulled through the streets and pushed up the cobblestone Rampe Sainte-Waudru, aided by hundreds of locals due to superstition that failure to reach the top predicts misfortune for the city, as seen in 1803 (French revolution), 1914 (World war 1), and 1940 (World war 2). - Video

Primavera Sound Barcelona, Spain - May 29 to Jun 02 - Over 200,000 people attend this music festival right on the water. Headliners: Lana Del, Rey Pulp, SZA, Disclosure, Vampire Weekend & more.. It's around 300 Euros for a full event ticket. - Official Website

Krka National Park, Croatia - May 01 to Jun 30 - A wonderful stop during a trip to Croatia, I think it is really important to take in the natural elements of the countries I travel to. I went to another park in Croatia (Plitvice Lakes) back in 2017 that looks really similar and I can remember the awe from the clear water and beautiful waterfalls as I walked across the nice wooden pathway. - Blog

Cruise the Norwegian Fjords, Norway - May 01 to Sep 30 - Take the same path of glacial destruction that carved valleys out of mountains. The Fjords are quite photogenic and I'm sure they are even better in person. I'm not usually a cruise guy but this seems like an adventure to me. - Blog
